Charity Law and Local Authorities

There have been substantial changes to the law of charities over the past few years and now may be the right time to get an update.

Local authorities are in many instances the corporate trustee of charities and also provide members and/or officers to act as trustees. The local authority lawyer often is asked to advise on charity matters and needs a basic understanding of the law.

This session is intended to refresh basic understanding and flag up when more specialist help may be required.
