Daniel O'Gorman

Daniel is a partner in the corporate team and advises quoted and private companies, financial intermediaries and funds on a range of corporate transactions.  He has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, initial public offerings and other equity fundraisings.
 
Daniel joined the team in 2008 and had previously worked for ten years at City firm Travers Smith.  Prior to joining Cobbetts, transactions on which Daniel has advised include advising: 
 

• The target on the £200m takeover of International Energy Group.
• The selling shareholders of Just Trays Limited on the Gresham-backed MBO of the company.
• Numis Securities on the admissions to AIM of 2ergo Group Plc and Broca Plc.
• The equity house and other selling shareholders on the £245m disposal of Earls Court & Olympia Holdings to Nomura.
• ING Barings, adviser to bidder, on the recommended offer and take private of PizzaExpress Plc.
