William qualified as a solicitor in 1983 and joined Cobbetts as a partner in 2003.
William has vast experience of all aspects of business restructurings, re-financings, rescue and turnaround. He specialises in advising the management of companies where there is some form of financial under-performance or difficulty.
William has a successful track record of over 20 years and is one of the leading insolvency practitioners in the UK. Much of his work has an international focus, most recently the ground breaking Parkside Group restructuring in the UK and Poland resulting in greatly enhanced returns to all stakeholders.
William is a past President of the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association, a Fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a member of INSOL International, the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the State Capital Group.
