The Manchester office of law firm, Cobbetts LLP, has been appointed by Speedy Hire Plc to deliver property legal services for its entire UK real estate portfolio.

Formed in 1977, Speedy Hire is the leading provider of equipment and support services in the UK.  The Group provides specialist support to a range of clients covering construction, infrastructure, industrial and related industries.    

Senior partner Stephen Benson and real estate specialist Naveen Gupta were instrumental in working to bring Speedy and Cobbetts together.  Benson commented, “Cobbetts has an established reputation for helping national brands to manage their real estate assets and this appointment follows a long relationship with Speedy.”

Since being appointed Cobbetts has acted on a number of transactions for Speedy including the acquisition of 30,000 sq ft of office space at Haydock, its’ new Group and Support Service Headquarters.
