| | Birmingham law firm, Cobbetts Lee Crowder, has strengthened its property development team with the appointment of a specialist town and country planning lawyer.
Tim Willis, joins as Senior Associate Planning solicitor in the firm’s property development practice and brings specific expertise in town and country planning law and compulsory purchase.
Prior to joining Cobbetts Lee Crowder, Tim was a planning lawyer with Burges Salmon. Before that he spent 14 years in local government, giving him extensive knowledge on the application of Town and Country Planning law and procedure in addition to issues concerning local government law and practice. Tim qualified in 1993 whilst with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Tim’s move reflects Cobbetts Lee Crowder’s growing reputation in the property field. Together with Cobbetts the firm has a 90 strong property team and over recent months has consistently attracted lawyers from blue chip regional and national practices.
